Multi-sensory, interactive brand experience detailing the fascinating story behind one of the UK’s most renowned department stores.

The public’s overwhelmingly positive response to the opening of The John Lewis Partnership’s ‘The Art of Shop-keeping’ delighted our client. The semi-permanent installation celebrated the company’s unique heritage and charts their rise from a humble Victorian draper to a chain encompassing more than 40 stores.

Located on the third floor of their flagship Oxford Street store, the 300sqm visitor attraction included an authentic shop front façade based on the original haberdashery store opened by the founder John Lewis in 1864.

Using our extensive experience – designing and delivering branded environments, we were able to inject a touch of theatre through the creative use of props, lighting, sound and smell.
